Walk for Wellness
Connected to the Mesabi Trail and designed to encourage individuals and families to enjoy nature through physical activity, our Walk for Wellness program encourages visitors to walk and experience nature on our vast grounds of natural scenery.  Listen to live music as you stroll on Thursday nights from 5-9 p.m.  Paved, lighted trails and many stairs to climb also available for those more ambitious.

Music in the Park
Every Thursday from 5-9 p.m. enjoy free outdoor live music in our park.  Bring your family.  Walk the trails.  Food is available at our Acoustic Cafe.  Watch for special performers playing in the amphitheater the first Thursday of the month.

Discover Your Family Story
Trace your Genealogy and family tree to learn more about your family's history.  Visit the Iron Range Research Center as part of the Minnesota Discovery Center and search for FREE!

Date Night ~ June 14th
Want to make an impression on your next date...or better yet, your spouse?  Here are four great reasons why Date Night at MDC is one of the best things to do on the Range:
1.  Live music.  Every Thursday evening, live music is performed, and is sure to enhance the atmosphere of the date.
2.  Food and drinks.  Food and drinks are the staple of any date, and you can enjoy these in a unique setting.
3.  Strolling through the galleries.  The Museum's collections are a great place to travel through history.
4.  Trolley ride.  The perfect way to make any date memorable.

Mini-Golf
Putt your way through our premier mining-themed outdoor 19-hole miniature golf course.  A little friendly competition will do you good.  $3 per person.

Trolley Rides
Ride the trolley to discover an old time mining community and enjoy the picturesque landscape.  $3 per person.
